Moof Hacks: Tips and Tricks
Moof Hacks Presents: Eden World Builder Tips and Tricks. Whether you are a newbie, amateur, or even an experienced builder, there are probably little tricks to learn to improve your world or just make your life just a little easier. Organized into newbie, amateur, and experienced, here are some of moof’s favorite tips and tricks.
Newbie
Water and Lava
If you are new to the game or sandbox, you may be unfamiliar with how water and lava works. If you are filling a pool, for example, you do not have to individually place every water block; you can just fill in the top layer and it will do the rest for you.

Building Up
For beginners, sometimes building upwards can seem challenging. But, if you look down to where the imaginary character’s feet are, you can place blocks under your character, which provides a fast, easy way to build to the sky.

Slant Blocks
When using ramp blocks, or blocks that have a 45% angle, you can create a wall with a slanted border. All you have to do is have 2 normal blocks that create a corner, in which you place your ramp blocks.

Coloring the Sky
Ever wondered how someone gave their world a night time sky? Just use the color tool and tap on the sky with whatever color you want it to be. Dark black is night, and 1 down from top cyan is normal. Each color gives the sky its own unique feel!

Color Bomb
Ever wanted a large area changed to one specific color? Simply color a TNT block with your desired color and it will color the same area that it would explode as normal TNT.

Picture Taking
Sometimes, you might want to get an overview of a project but the edge of the loading chunk is too close. Instead of walking all the way over to get a new chunk, just save/exit your world and reopen it, and you will be in the center of a new loading chunk already.

Impossible Flooring
Ever come across an ice block that doesn’t slide? A TNT, tree trunk, or ladder block that is turned on its side for flooring? Just use the expansion block without igniting it, and you will get the same effect.

Large Platform
Ever wanted to produce a large platform but not have to do it all manually? Simply use the expansion block with a row of wood blocks covering where you don’t want it to go. You can burn the wood blocks when it is done (unless the produced material is flammable). This technique gives you 5 blocks for the price of 2.

Smaller Sized Water
Water can come in 2/3 and 1/3 of the normal block size, but if you take away the main block, these go away. Should you want one of these sizes without the parent block, there is a way to get around this. Cut out the parent block, but before the smaller pieces disappear, save the world. It will stop them from disappearing and you are left with smaller than normal sized water.
